The 9423 Beckman Black Excalibur is part of the Classic Beckman collection. The Beckman is named after the companies founder: Charles Beckman, a German immigrant who founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1905. When Mr. Beckman was walking the unpaved and mudddy streets of Red Wing, MN he needed a solid and sturdy boot that could be polished to match his status as a business entrepreneur. The Excalibur leather is the highest quality leather, made from the finest hides available. The Red Wing 9423 Beckman has a supreme leather Gro-Cord outsole with Vibram rubber traction which provides grip on any surface and comes with black waxed flat laces.
