The Hanwag Womens Makra Trek Lady GTX boot offers lasting comfort, support and protection from the elements when hiking, trekking and hill-walking in varied conditions.
Upper: The Makra Trek's upper is made from high-quality Perwanger suede, which is incredibly durable and breathable. Suede embossing down the sides of the boot allows the material to retain its shape without stretching and becoming loose over time, whilst still being pliable enough to flex and deal with technical manoeuvres and steep ascents.
Membrane: The boots are lined with a classic Gore-Tex® membrane for maximum waterproof protection and breathability, keeping you both comfortable and protected from the elements at all times.
Outsole: The outsoles are specially developed Vibram® Integral Light outsoles that use Hanwag's 3D Prism Base technology to remove unnecessary rubber between the individual lugs, reducing the boot's overall weight. This Vibram® outsole provides optimum grip on alpine tours and various terrains, from root-covered woodland paths to smooth, slippery rock.
