Sale and Purchase

We will sell and you will purchase clothing and other products subject to our terms and conditions of business set out below. The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us in accordance with these terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order via our site does not constitute acceptance of an order.

Price

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of UK VAT unless otherwise specified. All clothing and accessories are exclusive of delivery and packaging, unless otherwise stated. Details of our delivery charges are set out during checkout.

Prices are correct at the time of order and relate to Internet purchases only. All orders for products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse to supply an individual or other organisation.

Every effort has been made to provide accurate representations of the goods through images and descriptions. There may however be small variations in colours and designs when items are viewed online compared to the physical goods. By using this site you are deemed to have accepted this.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

Deliveries to EU countries will be charged with the standard UK VAT of 20%.

Discounts and Promotional Codes

From time to time, Parasol Retail may release discount codes or promotional codes. Only one discount code can be used per order, and discount codes cannot be applied against gift voucher purchases.

Payment

Payment must be made in pounds sterling only by major credit or debit cards as listed on the site. We also accept UK bank cheques and postal orders for payment.

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment options. Payment is to be made to Klarna:

Passing of Property

The title of the goods does not pass to the customer until the full payment has been made by the customer, received by us and the goods delivered.

Passing of Risk

The risk in the products will pass to the customer on delivery. The risk in this context is taken to mean any damage or cost arising as a result of the purchased products to either the purchaser, the purchaser’s property or to any other third party or property.

Delivery

Any date or time period for delivery will be considered as indicative only and does not form any part of a guarantee. The customer will be informed of any products not available at the time of their order and will be sent to you, as soon as possible, when received from our suppliers. We cannot be held responsible for losses or inconveniences caused as a result of delays in deliveries by us or our suppliers. All products are sent by courier of our choice. All deliveries must be signed for upon receipt unless instructions are given by the customer to the contrary at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to deliver only to the address of the person who is the holder of the credit or debit card used to purchase the products.

If instructions are given to leave the goods without a signature then delivery is deemed to have taken place at the point the instructions are carried out by our couriers.

Our courier’s records of any delivery, whether signed for or not are considered definitive. On delivery of the goods the purchaser of the goods becomes responsible for any losses or damages arising as a result of their use however they may arise.

Acceptance

You will inspect any products and you will be deemed to have accepted the products unless you contact us within 14 days. If no such action is taken, we will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purposes, and may not accept any rejection of cancellation at a later date. Your statutory customer rights are not affected.

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your contract with us at any time during the period which starts on the day the contract begins and ends on the expiry of fourteen working days beginning on the day after the date of delivery of the products.

Returns Procedure

If returns are received by Parasol Retail within 14 days of receipt by the customer, a refund will be issued. Refunds are generally processed within 7 days after we receive the returned items. Credit notes will be issued for goods received after 14 days of receipt by the customer (up to 28 days). Please ensure all items to be returned are in a re-saleable condition, in original undamaged packaging with all labels attached, and have not been worn or otherwise used. We regret that we will be unable to accept non-faulty returns where tags have been removed.

Please note for hygiene purposes underwear is non returnable. 

When posting your item(s) back to us, it is strongly recommended you obtain proof of postage with tracking details. Please ensure that items are well packaged.

After goods have been inspected by us, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, or if the item was a special order (not normally available or stocked by Parasol Retail ), a credit note for the full value will be issued. In the event that a full order is returned, and that order qualified for free delivery, a standard delivery charge will be deducted from the refund.

If within 28 days of purchase goods returned to us are deemed faulty, incorrect or damaged, you will receive either a full refund, repair or replacement, plus reimbursement for the return delivery charge when postage receipt is provided (up to a maximum of £10).

After 28 days you may return any item for inspection if you believe it to be faulty, and we may either repair, replace or refund at our discretion if the item is deemed defective. Please contact us prior to returning goods.

General

If any part or parts of these terms and conditions are deemed invalid, void or unenforceable, then that part or those parts will be considered severable from these terms and conditions thereby not preventing the remainder from being enforceable or effective.

These terms and conditions may be revised at any time and we reserve the right to do so.

Nothing in these and conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

Governing Law

Your use of this Site and any purchase by you on this Site of any products will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in mainland United Kingdom.

All brand names, product names and titles used in the site are trademarks or trade names of their respective holders. No permission is given in respect of the use of any of these names or titles and moreover any such use may constitute an infringement of the holders’ rights.
