Hikerdelic x MessyWeekend Anthony Sunglasses

About the collaboration

Hikerdelic is a Manchester brand built on late 80s Acid House culture and the outdoor aesthetics of the North West, founded by Mark Smith and Neil Summers of Proper Magazine. MessyWeekend is a Copenhagen eyewear brand, founded in 2018, known for handcrafted UV400 sunglasses and goggles with a Scandinavian design sensibility. The two brands share an interest in well-made accessories that sit outside the mainstream. The Anthony is MessyWeekend's distinctive hexagonal-frame sunglasses style, given a Hikerdelic colourway treatment across three options.

About the Anthony Sunglasses

The frame is handcrafted acetate with a hexagonal shape and clean angular edges. Five-barrel gold hinges add strength and movement, with matching gold trim along the temples. The lenses are anti-scratch and offer 100% UVA+UVB protection. Fittings are nickel-free. The three colourways — Tortoise Brown, Brown Yellow and Black Gradient Blue — each read slightly differently depending on the light, from warm amber tones to cooler gradient blue.
